Seems like the general consensus is that people want to have the site fixed before adding anything new… People want the damn site working correctly. I totally agree with that.
No argument! Just thought the powers that be actually had an answer and were going to implement it!
In your dream
Sorry. Guess I got a little excited. Should know better.
Just fix it first thats all we ask for.
At this point, I’d settle for adding an Instagram link on brewery and place pages. It’s only been an obvious thing to do for like five years now.
Seems it was on the plan for more than a year but they never updated the ADD / EDIT pages for Brewers and Places… Now than @aww is gone, new design pages seem on hold / hiatus…
And I guess we’ll have 2018 eternal on the front page, along with “newly released” Ratebeer Best from before COVID-19 was a global pandemic (remember those times)?
And also that annoying survey popping up every so often.
Holy shit. It has been updated to BEST BEERS OF 2019 and BEST BREWERS OF 2019. WTF?!
Baby steps man, baby steps.
(glad it was changed!)
Yes, only 9 months late. But better late than never, right?
Edit: clicking on the Top brewers in 2019 takes me to the page for 2018… Meanwhile the link to the Best Beers of 2019 is correct.
At least we still have “My 2016” on the site:
Apologies for that, I’ve looked at resolving some of those issues.
The link to top brewers of 2019 should now be correct.
I’ve also updated the My 2016
/My 2017
inconsistencies to now all be My Year In Beer
which should at least be year agnostic and more reflective of where that link takes you.
Thanks for raising those issues.
Regards,
Services @ RateBeer
I’d been meaning to flag this for a while. I’m going to post a link to this on the other bugs thread to see if people can fix it
I think it’s just Nunavut missing now. There’s one listed in NWT now I think
Nunavut also got 1 (https://www.ratebeer.com/Breweries/nunavut/64/39/)…it’s just that, like NWT (https://www.ratebeer.com/Breweries/northwest-territories/58/39/), those province pages aren’t listed with the others like it should be in the Breweries page…@services
No point they do not care about bugfixing just adding new bugged functionality.
Just saw Air Canada offering an unlimited fly ticket at reasonable price for 1, 2, and 3 month options can fly all over and pick up these. If of course you live in Canada and like to travel and can stay safe
