With my slow rating pace (combined with a focus on new and less rated regions) I’m unlikely to get any more over 100 in the next year. The closest challengers are:
Grampian: 88
Somerset: 85
North Yorkshire: 84
Lothian: 81
Gloucestershire: 75
Cumbria: 70
Derbyshire I’ll break 100 with a couple of Thornbridge or Buxton ticks. North Yorkshire I’ll get done with some more Brew York beers. They’ll be done in slow time.
Glasgow I’ll be able reach 100 with Overtone very very soon. Lothian I already have enough for 100 once I drink the Vault City and Newbarns stuff in my fridge.
No Welsh regions at 100 yet however Clwyd is on 92 so that’ll hit 100 very soon with my Polly’s and Wild Horse rates to come.
As for the rest of the world…
New York at 106. California second with 85 but I don’t see myself getting that to 100 any time soon.
Basque Country on 117. Catalonia 113
Oslo at 90 and Rogaland at 81. This is almost entirely Amundsen and Lervig so both will rise with stouts from both over Christmas. Will no doubt hit 100 by next year.
Västra Götaland at 90. Might be able to hit 100 in the next few months depending on what Swedish stuff I find here.
Nowhere else is anywhere near 100 to bother mentioning.
Only America for me for now. However I am 98 Bavarian rates so could get there easily next beer run. Don’t think I want anymore NY rates with that nice number.
New York 1234
Massachusetts 679
Florida 645
California 357
Vermont 215
Maine 214
Colorado 165
Connecticut 142
New Hampshire 142
Pennsylvania 124
Rhode Island 124
Michigan 106
I know, really should do better! I have got about 6 of theirs in the backlog, so that’ll boost my Shropshire numbers, along with a couple of Clun beers after a brewery trip there on Friday
Funnily enough @Martinsh according to a friend, the head brewer (at Salopian) did say earlier in the year that they intended to concentrate on their core beers; I haven’t noticed any drop in ‘new output’ though.
35/46 from England, 19/51 from the US of A forming the bulk.
