Yeah, there’s info online about that. Done!
Did a quick run through on Adroit Theory. Brewer page says “Please do not add add a new Ghost entry if the beer is the exact same as an earlier brew.” I’m close to 100% on the items I included here, but I’m fine if it’s determined to keep any of them separate.
I am confident that the following beers are the same. The entries should merged into the first entry.
This one should be renamed “Adroit Theory Dia De Los Muertos (Coconut, Cacao Nibs, Oreo’s, Salted Caramel, and Maple Syrup)” to reflect the description’s ingredients:
Capitalize the “De Los” to match all the other entries:
These are the same beer, “Adroit Theory B/A/Y/S (Coffee, Coconut, Cacao, Peanuts, Maple)”
Aside from the (~0.2 ABV difference, I don’t believe these are different beers)
There’s a few entries that have 2% difference in ABV, but I’m pretty confident these are the same. If you determine the same, perhaps putting the ABV in the name instead of the “Ghost” numbers (this has been done for Adroit Theory G/I/A/A). They even seem to have the same label on Untappd (though different descriptions)
This one has 12.5% (0.5 different), but seems to be the same beer as the above two:
“Ghost 1080” is “Cubano Coffee + Toasted Coconut + Cacao Nibs + Macadamia”
Adroit Theory Illusion of Safety - (Blackberry, Blueberry, Raspberry & Pomegranate)
Rename: “Adroit Theory Imagination Atrophy (Coffee, Cacao Nibs, Caramel, Vanilla)”
Adroit Theory Negation (Toasted Coconut, Pecans, Cocoa Nibs, Bourbon Barrel Aged Honey)
These appear to be the same:
Still On My Grind (second one doesn’t appear to exist and the picture of the beer says “My” not “The”)
BALLS! Cocked up entering this new beer https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/joules-penny-pincher-toffee-ale/1081641 - hit enter to start a new line in the description but it saved the entry, d’oh! Description should continue:
“A deep toffee brown ale made with large amounts of crystal malts giving caramel and toffee flavours. the perfect winter warmer for those colder January nights.”
Style is wrong too, entered Brown Ale but looks like it’s gone to Belgian Ale-dark/Amber (God knows how I managed that!), but think it’s just a standard bitter, albeit flavoured. And there’s a photo too:
Sorry to whoever has to fix my mess! Note that Penny Pincher was a Golden Ale previously.
No worries, but should it go under Bitter or Flavored - Other
I’ve no idea! I may get to try it tonight (if it’s on at the pub I’m off to) so will have a better idea then
Put it in flavored unless someone complains really loudly as they seem to put toffee in first place.
I was at the brewpub last weekend. This is a Pale Ale brewed with English hops, from the horses mouth. Please can it be amended from golden/blonde ale to Pale Ale (or even Pale Ale - English)
Name should start Empty Streets not Enpty Street
All 3 of these beers are collaborations with DUBCO (Destination Unknown Beer Company):
Could someone please fix the names so they are all Icarus / DUBCO ?
A few Stone updates:
I believe this Stone beer should actually be merged with the Arrogant Consortia beer (and kept under Arrogant Consortia):
Merge 7-4-22 into Tangerine and Pineapple:
Brewer likely needs to be changed to “Stone Brewing - Liberty Station (Sapporo)” since description says it was brewed there:
https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/bone-broth/1083691/ (Collab with Soma. Rename Basqueland / Soma Bone Broth)
This entry autocorrected when typing in and needs corrected to say Beer Ink / Didko instead! https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/beer-ink-sicko-bloody-mary-gose/1083798/
Here’s link to pumpclip pic and description:
This beer was added under Meantime but I wondered if the new version of the Dark Star brand would really be doing collabs. Checked Twitter and it was released in November so would have been brewed whilst the Sussex brewery was still going:
I’ve created correct entry, can this incorrectly named one please be deleted now:
Maybe I’m missing something, but what is the difference between these two?
Maybe they removed more of anything beer-adjacent from the second one.
Fixed! I guess the comma was creating issues when searching.
