“Brewed with big bold hops, this beer will spark your taste buds. Lakota was first brewed in 2017, and now the Brewers have perfected the recipe for cask ale. Packed with Apollo, Bravo and Cascade hops this beer is beautifully aromatic but well balanced and of course; sessionable.”
Badger have some new craft style Outland beers. The Milk Stout appeared a renamed Milk Made Stout so I queried this on Facebook. They confirmed it was the same beer.
(I haven’t taken a proper look but some of their Aldi beer seem to be rebadges of other Badger beers - Coffee Stout and West Coast IPA, although the latter are only on Ratebeer in their Aldi guises at the moment.)
This sessionable pale ale presents golden orange in colour, with tangerine, pine and stonefruit aromas from Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe, and Amarillo used late in the whirlpool. These hops also deliver a powerful bitterness which is well balanced by a slightly sweet, caramel malt character from crystal rye malt and a soft palate from wheat malt. Refreshing and drinkable.
Thought of adding a new entry for Shrooms of Doom because the ABV has changed from 8.3 to 6%, but didn’t. It does need a change to Stout- flavoured/ pastry though.
This is called Yardsman BPA. It’s been added twice but should they be combined or the cask special retired? Also it’s Pale Ale (currently down as Irish Red and Golden Ale respectively):
Sounds like that note might have been wrong as to what they do now. After going to the website I kind of remember this place coming up before. @Theydon_Bois your thoughts on this being legit and removing the remarks?
