This beer has been added incorrectly. It should just be listed under the Hoppa brewery in Belgium (where it is show as being client brewed), not this Dutch brewery.
If nothing else the top one should be called Bormonti 100% Malt.
However the latter may well be a rebranded version as I note references to it being a malt beer on the Turkish bottle.
Double however: what triggered my suspicion was both beers being 4.8%. But I’ve just noticed that the bottle of Farbrika I have states 4.5%.
@Grumbo and @danlo: I bought a bottle of Farbrika at Home Bargains so wonder if you two should have rated that (unless of course it is agreed that they’re the same beer).
I did not change these, as I will let British admins deal with British IPAs as they seem to have different criteria. I also did not change the two to APA as I do not think it is a clear cut case.
I also did not change Omnipollo/Buxton Yellow Belly as we do not know if there are actual adjuncts.
Yep. As I understand it “aroma” in the context of ingredients (the peanut and biscuit) refers to flavour extracts, which I guess would technically be classed as adjuncts too.
I would assume YB uses those same aromas as YBS despite not being mentioned anywhere. But yeah the point was cacao nibs and vanilla
Couldn’t find much info on this collaboration. I could be wrong here but I’m fairly sure it’s a North Riding brew which would make the first one correct. It was bottled in 500ml bottles which I know North Riding use for their beers. I don’t recall Northern Monk ever using 500ml bottles.
