From which country that you have never been to have you rated the most beer?

I’ve had beers from every country I’ve visited but didn’t place rate a few that brings me sadness. Australia, Austria and France

2nd USA - 3213 beers rated (might try and make my first trip to USA next year)

Next is…

15th Estonia - 92 beers (even easier to get to than the USA, might try a Estonia and (31st and 25 beers) Finland trip soon.

Really cant believe i have now rated more US beers (and not been there) than my home country UK . Pretty insane

Not Danish but i live here. No answer to your question, but when you see the amount of beer tourists we have here during MBCC week seems peculiar it would be least visited, must all be untappd users who come here

Edit# Actually it cant be the least visited country, look how many RB users come to Denmark/MBCC here https://www.ratebeer.com/event/54766/

Can I just point out that I intended to state, " as a child." At no point when I was in Luxembourg did I do a child. Fucking predictive text and a teeny weeny box to type in.

USA 286
Slovakia 84
Poland 50

For me its:

UZBEKISTAN
TURKMENISTAN

Drank beer in both but have no record of what i had.

My little list includes these joints!

Ascension Island
Bahrain
Kuwait
Saudi Arabia
Sint Maarten
Vatican City

<*))))))><

Ya i was just joking around anyway

Good Q.

My list is:
New Zealand - 105 ratings
Australia - 77
Switzerland 70 (I blame Mr Tipple!)

Still not had any beers from Sudan, Qatar, Bahrain and Vatican City. For obvious reasons.

Still waiting for the Pope Pale Ale…

We need some trappists in the Sistine Chapel…

Liechtenstein is the only one out of 31 that I’ve visited.

Revisiting this old post since I was about to start one on the same topic.
Not all that surprising. Germany and Netherlands are in the top countries and therefore represented in the regions as well. UK and Belgium I have been to (Including GBBF) but not to every province/county.
US - I have been a bunch of times but there are lots of States I’ve never been to.

Denmark 144 (#7)
Germany 144 (#7 Tied?)
Netherlands 58 (#11)

Regions:
California (USA) 481 - I was aiming to get this to 500 at one point but I have only had one new beer from California since 2019, and even that was a contract brew made closer to home.
Colorado (USA) 137
Wisconsin (USA)54
Bavaria (Germany) 89
Hainaut (Belgium)70
Missouri (USA) 42
Luxembourg (Belgium)30
Walloon Brabant (Belgium) 24
Minnesota (USA) 20
Suffolk (UK) 44
North Yorkshire (UK)35
Somerset (UK) 27
Bedfordshire (UK) 22
North Brabant (Netherlands) 23
South Holland (Netherlands)23
North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany) 21
Berkshire (UK) 20 (Technically I think I’ve been through Berkshire)

So, after almost 2.5 years, England moved past Austria to #5 with 505 ratings, still very much not visited.

USA moved up to tie Denmark (which I had a blast in, apart from my last hour in it) to tie #8-9 with 397. Netherlands, still unvisited, moved a place to #16 with 194 and Scotland moved to #19 with 143. And thus endeth the top 20.

Japan at 55.
Poland 37.
New Zealand 27.

I have been to Scotland but did not have beer there so take that as you will.

Regions:

  1. Wisconsin at 71 (though I never did drink beer in North Carolina and have 79 from there).
  2. Indiana at 49.
  3. Flemish Brabant 46.
  4. East Flanders at 45 and Georgia at 45.
  5. Hainaut at 43.
  6. Oklahoma at 42.
  7. Saint Petersburg at 36
  8. Antwerp at 35
  9. Utah and Minnesota at 32.
  10. Hauts-de-France at 27
  11. Alaska 23
  12. Iowa and Greater Manchester at 21

Same answer for me Belgium and Japan.

I have 64 regions with more than 10 rates (252 total)and of that I have not visited 17 of them. Oregon being the highest at 79 rates.

Over two years later. Still Scotland, up to 27.

New Zealand, 49 beers
Canada, 48 beers
Japan, 38 beers

I’ve been to the Vatican City without having had a beer from there, mainly because none are being brewed there.

This is my original post:

Lithuania with 29 rates and 19th in my list of countries.

Japan next on 20 rates (all beers) and 23rd country on my list.

3rd comes New Zealand at 18 rates and country 24 down the list.

My list is the same, but the order and number of beers has changed:

New Zealand is now 1st with 38 beers and 19th on my list of countries.

Lithuania next with 36 beers and 23rd down the list of countries.

Japan comes third now, 28 rates (2 of them Sake) and 26th country wise.

Region wise Colorado wins with 81 rates, Oregon and Massachusetts equal second on 52 rates.
