«Flying» down to Kent to meet Ian

Brilliant night out in Canterbury with those 3 men from Norway. It’s what Rate Beer is all about. Meeting like minded people from another country and showing them around your town or city. Great evening. Photos will follow no doubt from the Norwegians. If you get the chance meet up and have a few beers.
Enjoy your evening with Colin tomorrow
Cheers
Ian

What a trip, you all must be exhausted, or worse, beer’d out.

Not more exhausted than we still enjoys every second of the trip.
Had a great time with Colin yesterday, he showed us around , best places and beers, we even tried good pizzas at the finish.
We are now seated on the train to Norwich, ETA 10:50, will work our way south with stops at Ipswich and Colchester.
Remaining country will then be Northamptonshire, which will be done tomorrow

Settled at Coach & Horses, Norwich. Table by the fire.

Blimey, looks like they’re brewing some different beers at the Coach & Horses!

This is probably a new Welsh Brewery, and the correct name is on the picture of the pump clip.
Can any of you direct this to the Welsh admins ?

It’s Mission Creep, not Mission Creek. It’s Gazza Prescott’s new venture after leaving Pixie Spring/Hopcraft. Although it’s brewed at Velvet Owl, they are not the same businesses. So, yes, it should be a new brewery. I’ll attend to it in due course.

To complicate matters further Velvet Owl initially operated as a “cuckoo” brewery from the premises of Lines. However, they now seem to have taken over the premises from Lines, who appear to have moved elsewhere.

After finishing 3 counties today, we decided to go to The Harp (Chandos) for an almost done beer, our choice , Kernel Pale Ale Ella. Delicious beer

Yes, I’m just asking some questions regarding Mission Creep, just seeing if I can find some details like address etc. Not sure where it leaves Hopcraft / Waen / Pixie Spring and anything else it was called in the end.
The funny thing is that this sort of confusion would have driven Gazza to ban them in his ticking days!

I’m in fairly frequent Facebook contact with Gazza if you hit a brick wall & need some help.
