If after you have it and think it would hold up against actual APAs resubmit the correction. Surprised UK admin didn’t state there no such thing as Pale Ale - English…it’s just another Bitter.
Another duplicate: https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/bentspoke-malt-shovel-bentshovel/950701/ is the same as https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/bentspoke-extra-belgian-ale/922440/
The “Bentshovel” in one version of the name is portmanteau of the collaborating brewers’ names (BentSpoke, Malt Shovel). As to style, it’s Speciale-ish and amber but not very strong.
I guess I’d plump for BentSpoke / Malt Shovel Bentshovel Extra Belgian Ale, style Belgian Ale - Dark/ Amber.
This beer:

Is actually brewed by Left Hand Brewing, rather than Left Handed Giant.
This be a Helles but I clicked on the wrong style.

Only 40 or so beers to get to 1k before midnight!

This is in as blonde/golden - doesn’t look or taste like that - should be a bitter?
It seems this beer is no longer produced. If I don’t get a response on these I plan to retire them myself.

Apologies - don’t have my glasses on so what I am typing is sightly blurry - so a typo on the name:

Could the style be switched to IPA - Brut please? Thanks!
No objection. Is there any evidence no longer brewed?
I’ll let English admins handle.
Their own description is a Golden Ale, we do stick to those if there is doubt.
From the Bruery website it seems it was last brewed in 2014. Also retired on Beer Advocate and listed as no longer brewed on untappd.
Also it seems this one was last brewed in 2019.

Sometimes I find it difficult to just let things go. With a lot of searching I couldn’t find any reference to style on Robinson’s web pages. Untappd, Beer Advocate and Birripedia consider it a bitter style. It took a Silver Medal in the International Beer Challenge some (who knows how many years ago), but I can’t find that result. Can you give me a link to a Robinson’s page that states Day of the Dead is a Golden Ale? Part of my continuing with this is that I hold “Trooper” ales in a special place - like a collection - though my stamp and coin collections have fallen on hard times.
To be pedantic the description refers to it as being an Ale which is deep golden in colour. There is no referenceto style…
Well, if you get a chance to try it, go with your impression.
Yeah go ahead and retire I suppose
We used to have to figure out you the beer admin is for California, any idea who that would be?
Malt flavours and citric notes from a unique blend of Bobek, Goldings and Cascade hops dominate this deep golden ale with a subtle hint of lemon.
