BotM - June’23 - Pils

Couldn’t resist. This pils has addition of yuzu fruit juice very light and is open fermented coolshipped. OEC does pretty well with lagers but doesn’t get the credit the other lager big guns in New England get.

The label comes off a little douch-y, but the beer has been solid.

Plain ol pilsners might be less common around here than the variety pilsners. Still on board with just about all of them.

Bought this beer from my favorite brewery in MI (Wandering Call from Wax Wings) in honor of this thread, and it did not disappoint. Best Bohemian(esque) Pils I’ve had in awhile.

Not really a traditional Pils, the Hallertaur Blanc gives it softer balance. $7.99 six pack.

Pretty weak stuff. Oddly sweet, fruity. IPL territory, and not a good one.

Some proper dub hopefully improves the experience!
