Ahhh Hungarian paprika… was an interesting taste, but I couldn`t get it!
Today I made a small road trip to pick up a parcel from Santa.
Thanks to the laughable services of Postnord it was shipped to the wrong county, with no hope of them fixing it.
Anyway I was able to recover a huge, well packed box filled up with German beer.
Besides delicious looking cookies that I may struggle to keep from my kids I found 17 very interesting beers, pretty much exactly in style I described in my wish list to Santa. Just look at this:

Wow! I want that Faroe Islands brew. All these boxes are amazing super jealous of you guys. If anyone of you travel to Boston area of US in future I’d love to do an in person trade and go have a brew.
My US secret santa arrives today but i need to get back to Europe to start collecting all the new regions.

Hope the cookies are not too dry after the travel. They are already eaten over here.
The faroese beer, as you might have noticed, is past it’s BBE date but I thought looking at the rarity it’s worth a try. When I bought it in summer it wasn’t even listed at the faroese alcohol monopol stores and therefore brewery only (which sadly is a two hour ferry trip from the main island…).
No worries about the slight typo in the postal codes. Only a company with zero intelligence and service could ever fail to deliver this correctly.
As expected why kids were all over the cookies. They are already eaten here too, seemed well appreciated 
I saw thatthe Faroese beer were a couple of days over BBE. It will be enjoyed later tonight.

I received my box in Spain on Friday, just in time as I had to leave right then for travelling. Sadly, I was in a hurry and I could not make proper photos, I will post them after the 3rd. The box contained a fantastic set of German beers, including sorts of Berlinner Weisse, Gose and Rauchbiers.
I will post the list with more detail, but anyhow thanks a lot to my Secret Santa!

My beers arrived two days ago, but i had no time till now to post.
Received a magnificent haul of beers from Germany, plus some candy, tea, and a handwritten postcard by Santa himself! A nice assorted bunch of micro breweries, new for me, and some classic ones, including classic german styles and modern interpretations. You know what i like, Santa, thanks a lot!

Just opened my box from Spain and Ohomedasbirras is obviously who sent it. I asked for IPAs and got 16 of them so I am pleased. Couldnt find some of them from ratebeer yet… Box was in good condition so it is highly reusable which is always nice

As promised, here’s my all-star lineup from Germany, plus some candies. I asked for sour beers and I got a really nice set of goses, Berliner Weisses, Helles, Rauchbier and some more.

Great seeing all these haul pics and glad to see Santa is still around.
I organised a whisky secret Santa via a Facebook group I’m in this year, much more palatable postage costs than for beer! But I do miss the thrill of beer mail, so to recreate it I get a little tipsy and order stuff online and forget what I have en route until I open it

Hi everyone, today I finally received a great package full of nice Italian beers with chocolates from Raush and the Halloren with Schwarzbier filling. Thank you very much rauchbierlover ! I knew you were my “German”/“Italian” Secret Santa for a few days now but I didn’t expect 100% Italian craft beers ?! German craft ales would have been great too but that’s not so common 
I am really lucky and happy ; +1 for the IGA (Italian grape ale) ; I didn’t know this typical style of Italy.
Thank you very much, I plan to go to Berlin within the next two years so maybe we will meet… and a special thanks to EuroSanta for the updates
