PLACES: Issues Reporting - Please Post Here for modifications

Actually, yep. I thought I had rated it before, I guess I did but with a different place name. I came across the “Ballston” one when I was looking at the Richmond Map. I searched for “World of Beer - Ballston” and didn’t see a duplicate in the database.

I guess the two can be merged? If it’s easier, my latest review can just be deleted.

I think the newer one has the new times and everything captured a little better. I will move/merge your place rate to that. Additionally, I added (Arlington) to it in hopes this will prevent another dupe entry.

All else should be taken care of as well.

Are you unable to add this yourself?

I could before

Cleaning cache/site data and cookies in your browser should help with login issues, unless you’re using some weird mobile browser, or have some weird setting for them.

Anywho, will add in a bit, but I’d be glad to help you with troubleshooting.

Hi,

I’ve just added a new place.
https://www.ratebeer.com/p/oc-local-taproom-laguna-hills/102405/97853/

I said it was in Laguna Hills, but apparently it’s in Laguna Niguel, sorry!

Sadly the map has put it here.
https://www.ratebeer.com/beermap?p=102405&z=15

Any chance someone can put it where it actually is?

Thanks.

<*))))))><

Ha, didn’t know I could do it myself!

All good now!

Completed! Quick Q: If you were the only person there who was drinking on your beer card?

“Just be careful and don’t forget your card in the slot like I did or someone will drink free beer on your account.”

I wasn’t the only one there, by “Service is great because it was me” I meant I poured my own beers. It’s one of those card systems where you can, thankfully in this case, put the card they give you on and pour 1 oz of beer if you want. They charge by the ounce, haha.

Oh, gotcha now. We have a place Beervana down here that does the same things. I kept forgetting my card. It was nice to get 27 ticks without the hassle.

Is it possible for admins to add comments to places? The Greenwich Brewpub in Southsea originally opened with Makemake using the brewkit. Makemake moved out and Crop moved in. Crop have now moved out due to the current economic climate (and suspended brewing for the timebeing*). When the brewery change took place it seemed sensible to leave it open as the overall offering remained the same.

Now, with Crop moving put the pub owners are selling the kit for scrap. Apparently a local brewer offered to buy the kit and were turned down! Also the beer offerings are now more macro. So seemeed best to retire it. However would it also be possible for an admin to add a note pointing out that it’s no longer a brewpub?

*They were planning to move into their own premises but instead are just going to consider their options. The brewer is still head brewer at Tap It.
