BEERS: Issues Reporting - Please Post Here for modifications

I think these are the same beer with the former being the correct name: Deschutes Whiskey Butte Porter , Deschutes Whiskey Butte . The 2021 version I had was 9% ABV but did not appear to be flavoured according to our rules (i.e. it’s aged in whiskey barrels but doesn’t have the additives that Black Butte variants have).

Moot Brew Co have been added on here twice,:

Do you actually mean to say … “I added Moot Brew and the one beer for a second time nearly 2 months after they were first added”?

That presumes that I have any recollection of adding it.

Unless you’ve been hacked your name is all over it !`

Not saying I didn’t add it but doing so is lost in the mists of time.

This one needs to be changed to Revolver Dark Hoppy Ale please because it turns out there is another I’m about to add called Brick Lane Revolver Vanilla Porter.

From what I can see Sunshine Coast Brewery and Sunshine Coast Cider are different producers:
https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/sunshine-coast-brewery/4002/
https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/sunshine-coast-cider/49883/

Which means the following three ciders need moved to Sunshine Coast Cider:

Goddards and Boojum & Snark have a collab range where the have the same beers available under their own brand names.

Please alias this:

https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/boojum-and-snark-voyage/1043414/

To:

https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/goddards-boojam-and-snark-riptide/1043413/

(The former is described as a Red IPA and the latter a Red Ale but just had then side by side and clearly same beer. And, yes, I managed to misspell Boojum.)

We have a three way here… looks like it was originally sold by both as South Island but now B&S call their one Snark . Confirmed as the same beer by barman at B&S.

https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/goddards-south-island/1038283/ (should be NZ in hindsight)

https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/boojum-and-snark-snark-pale-ale/1038327/

Also just spotted that this one is called ‘Hold My Thumbs’:

https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/staggeringly-good-fermenterarna-hold-my-thumb/1043214/

And this is flavored (cherry and cocoa):

https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/steam-town-medullary-raise/930085/

Thus one is a collab with Newtown Park:

https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/double-barrelled-maluku/1043532/

And this is a collab with Bianca Road:

https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/staggeringly-good-smile-you-son-of-a-peach/1035028/

Was reading a local CAMRA mag and noticed that this is actually brewed at Hogs Back - brewed to be sold at Fullers pubs:

This is Flavored - Chili:

This beer is shown against the wrong Parish brewery.

https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/parish-great-notion-swamp-stack/846629/

It should be listed under this US Parish Brewery

https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/parish-brewing-company-usa/11416/

The same is probably true for these as well

Done… I see how they got under the radar - these were verified by an admin who obviously didn’t check anything, and didn’t think that good old Parish UK suddenly doing collabs with US breweries and suddenly blending bourbon barrel aged pastry imperial stouts in between bitters is a red flag… won’t name names, but FFS, this was dead easy to avoid. And it caused duplicates, which needed to be cleared up as well.

And someone else added the US brewery’s logo, to confuse things further :sigh:

But anyway, what was done was done, its fixed now, thanks

Handled most, but, regarding these IOW beers - are they brewed at both places, or?

Yep - the beers are brewed and bottled at Goddards.

One more to add when I get around to having it becaue I bought all 6 before discovering what was up.

That does suck quite a bit…

Aliased everything…

Cheers.

I’ve also renamed those to Ventnor Botanic Garden beers, as that’s the branding all over the beer.

I actually took them apart and retired the old one - the hint, apart from the ABV/IBU is that the older one says it only has light smoke, and the newer one claims a hefty amount of smoke, notes of smoldering wood and so on.

This beer should be renamed to remove the “(Bottle)” because it is also available in cask
https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/st-austell-hicks-bottle/587748/
Also it is 5% not 6% (both bottled and cask).

And while I’m on here, this beer should be an IPA (English) not a berst bitter / ESB

Going through my backlog and noticed this beer has been duped. Please can someone merge https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/track-nelson-street/1016658/ into the correct original entry https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/track-women-on-tap-nelson-street/1007573/ (latter being earliest and I believe to be correct as has beer style as in Table Beer = SIPA rather than pale ale) cheers
