This brewpub has permanently shut according to Gooe.

Also the one beer listed under them had been added in an incorrect format (and apparently was available in a bar in Devon?!).

Hi!

Same beer, please merge:

Guineu / Oso VanillapiĂ©s ‱ RateBeer

Into:

Oso Brew VanillapiĂ©s ‱ RateBeer [Brewed by Guineu]

Cheers.

Can this one have a full stop after the vs please. It will then match the naming convention of all other Brewdog vs. Beers.

Pretty sure these two are actually the same beer:

https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/joules-blonde/153465/
https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/joules-pure-blonde/538613/

Was launched as Blonde, and then at some point they added in the Pure - don’t think there was any change to it, but if there was, the Blonde needs to be retired as it’s no longer brewed (although as some pubs retain their old pump clips you may easily be confused)

Could these two be merged? Same beer, 1 rate each

Taken care of them.

Added this whilst cooking so went off misleading photos*. This is a standard DIPA rather than the hazy variety.

Hi. This beer https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/lost-pier-staring-at-the-sun/893519/ is brewed at Missing Link Brewing.

Cheers.

I’ve just had By The Horns Deep Funk. It’s a blend of two beers: Deep Squeeze and Funk. It’s been added as a Stout - Imperial Flavored/Pastry but it’s more complicated than that.

https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/by-the-horns-deep-funk/909466/

Deep Squeeze is on here as a Sour/Wild - Dark:

https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/by-the-horns-deep-squeeze/870446/

Funk is described as a ‘Farmhouse Sparkling Graf’ and is on here as a Saison / Farmhouse - Flavored (although it’s blend of a Belgian Red Ale and a Cider):

https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/by-the-horns-against-the-grain-funk-red-farmhouse-sparkling-graf/795216/

I’d suggest that Deep Funk and Funk are both Grafs or a Dark Sour and a Graf but happy to leave the decision to Admins

Wtf I can’t believe we don’t have a Sour-Wild-Belgian-Dark-Red-Cider-Graf-Saison-Farmhouse style for this!

This is a difficult one, I won’t change anything yet as I think some input from several admins is warranted here.

Deep Funk - probably fine being kept as a stout as it’s majority stouts (only 1/3rd cider) and I think you need at least 50% cider to qualify as a Graf as far as the style definition goes?

Funk - I would honour the brewer’s definition (they’re calling it a Graf on the label) and move to Apple Cider - Hopped / Malted / Graf

Deep Squeeze - again not straightforward as it’s 50/50 stout/pale so it doesn’t strictly fit in either of those styles. But, it’s soured so I’m ok with leaving it in Sour/Wild - Dark.

Having read the above it occurs to me that Deep Funk would be 50% Sour Dark and then 25% Sour Red and 25% Cider if we go those styles for the original beers.

Yeah that seems correct. So
Sour/Wild - Dark for that one you think?

Presuming that Deep Squeeze has been designated the correct style?!

I think it fits in there.

These are the same beer: https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/james-boag/765202/ & https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/boags-premium-lager/4074/95424/ . In my view the correct name is “James Boag’s Premium Lager” and the current ABV is 4.6%.

Apologies, slight typo on creation of this one. Please could that apostrophe be re-positioned.

Should be How’s rather than Hows’

Hello.

This one is now a series. The 2021 version actually states the year on the bottle. Could the 2020 version please be retired and have (2020) added to the name?
