For anyone who may care about the answer to this, here’s North Coast’s reply:
“This way it is all the same on both our kegs, cases and bottles. The first digit is the year, next three numbers are the batch code and the following four is the month and day it was bottled. So your Scrimshaw was bottled on April 18, 2018.”
