I’m still top of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire beer rates lists, although not waving.
I think my stats have a rare appearance for Lincolnshire. My first goal on RateBeer was to top the rates from Lincolnshire list. I now have just over twice as many as 2nd place fonefan. However, I haven’t had a new Lincolnshire beer since September.
Right, thought it would interesting to total up everyone’s stats to see what the most popular regions are. I’ve given three points for each person’s top region, two points for the second etc. If people had two regions with the same number of rates I split the points. As 20 people had responded, the maximum possible score for a region was 60. Here’s the scores:
England has the biggest spread across the counties, but obviously that’s because this was posted in the UK forum & has had more UK responses. Surprised by the spread of votes in some of the other countries.
California & Bavaria are clearly the most dominant regions within their respective countries.
California & Grampian are the only regions that featured in every single person’s top 3’s.
The next round of country splitting will see quite a few added at the same time, but populated slowly. Ireland, Northern Ireland and Wales will be included, so you might be surprised what you actually end up with.
