With the beer world a buzz due to the decision to split dortmunder and helles into two separate styles many folk are wondering how to navigate this new climate and what it all means for the future. As Andy Dufresne once said, “get busy living or get busy dying”.

An excellent display.
I’ve always been of the impression that Helles lager is at least as light bodied as pils but less hoppy and more malt balanced, while Dortmunder lager was even more malt forward, sweeter and stronger…
